Passing Away

Untying the strings

Unwinding the knots

Loosing the ties

Of Life

Who passes where

From here to there?

When we move away

From here?

Is the life we have now

A vapor of clouds

That fades quietly

Away?

Something struck me while watching a program on the television the other day, but this time it wasn’t anything my Grandpa threw at me. It was around the Christmas holiday and my husband was dutifully watching all the old early Christian movies, when a Biblical quote showed up on the screen: Revelations 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Now, I realize that each person follows his or her own path to enlightenment, but that’s not where I’m headed – so to speak. What struck me was the statement, “for the former things are passed away.” The verse describes what I would view as the peace we feel after we conclude our contracts with this lifetime: no more tears, death, sorrow, crying, etc. Then I thought about those words again. When we cross over, will the life we leave be only a vapor of a memory? Are we and the things of this world what the writer is talking about when he says the former things are passed away? When our loved ones talk to us from the other side, are they talking to what they believe is their memory of us? Do we now only exist as a memory? Are the everyday happenings in our daily lives only memories that we are somehow recalling, but not really living?

Wow – something to chew on, huh?

I’ll admit, I have an affinity for Albert Einstein and his work on the theory of relativity – everything happening in the “now,” but that is all I have in common with him. I tend to question “time” as we know it, and realize that time is something we created to help us manage our days and nights, and to give us a perception of recorded history. For anyone else outside the reach of our little planet, including those who have made the transition from this realm to theirs, time does not exist, and we are bound to our physical realm, until we are released by the shut-down of our bodies.

This message was given to a friend via a trance-medium and, with his permission I would like to share it with you. It touches on time and space travel and may be a little off topic. Nonetheless, I found it interesting and somewhat appropriate.

(Voice): Once you go beyond your solar system there is no such thing as “time.” It is only on this planet that time is measured. There are those who travel with the ships, who travel with the mind. Their travelling is done thus: you think of a place on earth while you are in your seat.

They are knowledgeable enough to know that thinking of a place transports them there.

(G): Surely we can do that as well?

(Voice): Not physically. You can do it mentally. They do it physically with a complete ship.

(G): So they use material translocation?

(Voice): Yes. Now we are getting to subjects that the others with you may not understand. You cannot traverse space as they do. You, believe it or not, despite what your leaders or scientists tell you, will never travel far through space. Now that you have colonised the planet Earth, this planet has been granted you. Keep it, or destroy it at your peril, but you will never leave it in the physical sense. The body of a human being cannot take what space has to offer. It is not designed thus. It will not travel. There have been stories that man has travelled to your satellite moon. ‘Tis not so.

Man, in the world of science and the concepts of space travel, is as a one year old child."

I don’t know about you, but the issue of time, or lack of it, sparks loads of questions in my mind. For instance, have you ever noticed how some days you just don’t seem to have enough time in the day to do even one project, yet on other days seem very long, and you accomplish much more than you should have with the “time” allotted?

Tying to the two together – time and those passed – I wish to take this opportunity to dowse a few questions and invite you to do the same. Please let me encourage you to send your results to be posted on this site. Consider it your contribution to research into the unknown.

Does time exist only on this planet? "Yes"

Do we appear as memories to those who have passed? "Yes"

When they visit us, are they replaying a memory? "Yes"

Is this because there is no time and our events are in what we would consider their past? "Yes"

How can we be freed from the constraints of time? "Die"

Explain “die.” “Leave body.”

Again, please feel free to dowse these questions on your own, share with us your own experiences/opinions, and email your results and/or comments to contact@mirrorwaters.com
